My name is Joe Chambers and I am humbled to be called the pastor of Mountain Heights Baptist Church.

I don’t believe anyone remembers and applies anything apart from stories.  Therefore I am always looking for and seeing stories in all of life.  The greatest story ever told is the riches-to-rags story of Jesus Christ becoming a man, living a perfect life and dying on a cross so that an old sinner like me can know that I am forgiven, loved and never alone.  I believe I have been put here to tell people that God is not mad at them and to show them the way Home.

I live in Buena Vista, Colorado with my wife of over three decades.  I am the father of three grown sons, three beautiful daughter-in-laws and four grandgingers.  I love to read, tell stories, and spend time in the wilderness.
